I facilitated a personas workshop in order to come up with a set of user personas. Now user personas are the starting point for all of our design discussions.
We use UX canvas to find solutions to a specific user problem. This kind of process helps us to focus on user needs and business outcomes. In this way, brainstorming becomes easier and more fruitfull.
By using story mapping and user journies, we can easily visualise tasks. We are then able to prioritize them and draw a line dividing what is mandatory and what is not. It’s ideal to define the minimum viable product.
The prototype fidelity changes depending on what we want to know from the tests. I conducted many usability tests with expert and beginner users in order to create the most usable packaging tool possible and to obtain new insights from users.
